  • Kuvaus: A long-suffering girl, Liza, who has gone through untold hardships at the hands of her step-mother, finds happiness at long last. She meets a nice young man, Christos, and a tender love grows between them. Fate, however, holds another unexpected blow for Liza: the doctors announce that she will soon go blind due to a hematoma in her brain, caused by a contusion she received as a child. In the wake of this news, she decides to abandon everything and shut herself away in a monastery. Christos seeks comfort in the bottle, but at some point finds out the full story, rushes to the monastery and begs her to go back to him. Liza, however, chooses to stay close to God. Then, a miracle restores her lost vision, allowing her to be with her loved one again!
